The Problem
Most Kids Train Hard. Almost None of Them Train Smart.
Your player goes to workouts. They do drills. They come home tired. But are they actually getting better at the specific things that matter?
Most basketball training is random. A shooting session here, a ball handling clinic there, no continuity, no plan, no one tracking whether anything is actually improving. Kids work hard and stay the same because effort without direction is just cardio.
Spencer Skills Lab is built to fix that.

Your Coach
Train With Spencer Levy.
Spencer brings years of player development experience and a system built around measurable improvement. He doesn't just run drills. He tracks what's working, adjusts what's not, and holds players accountable to their own development.
Spencer also runs The CheckUp, UYP's film review program. Skills Lab players get CheckUp access included, which means your player's in-person training and their film review are connected. What Spencer sees on film feeds directly into what they work on in the gym.

The Process
How It Works
Assessment
Spencer evaluates your player's current skill set through an initial session and film review. This becomes the baseline everything is measured against.
Training Plan
Your player gets a development plan focused on their specific gaps. Not a generic workout. A real plan built around what they need to improve.
Weekly Sessions
Fridays at Momentous (shooting, ball handling, footwork). Saturdays and Sundays for skill work outdoors. Every session connects to the development plan.
Film Review
Through The CheckUp, Spencer reviews game and practice film remotely. What he sees on tape directly shapes what your player works on in the next session.
Track Progress
You and your player can see what's improving, what still needs work, and how far they've come. No guessing.
