Complimentary Initial Session! Led by a team of professionals with over 30 years of coaching experience combined. Our primary focus revolves around nurturing skills in various domains: ball handling, shooting precision, effective basket attacks, agility and speed enhancement, refined footwork, defensive prowess, and more. We firmly believe that numerous young athletes lack the indispensable individualized development within their teams to propel their game to higher echelons. Our clinics are designed to ensure meticulous skill-level training and foster a strong player-coach interaction. No one remains a bystander; every participant who enters the gym departs with fresh career-advancing techniques and an enriched understanding of the sport. Our doors are open to players of all proficiencies, including those with special needs, ensuring inclusivity at its best.

Autism and Special Needs Basketball Academy

UYP Skills Academy is open to all children with Autism, and all kids on the Spectrum. UYP Skills Academy utilizes the game of basketball to develop sports knowledge, physical motor skills, independence and socialization skills. We accept families that work with the Regional Center of Orange County (RCOC).

Do you currently serve any individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities at this time? Yes, we currently have students that have been a part of our program for years
What is your teacher to student ratio for classes and/or activities offered? 1:4-6
